For those who like the background of what we do, as we all help the furtherance of folk customs into the future, here is a PDF.

Why do we do it? You may ask.

My answer would be, to nurture a relationship of gratitude and reciprocity with nature and her bounty. We do this for ourselves and communities whose members feel intuitively that they need to reconnect, but are not sure how. And we do it to drink cider with friends and to be joyous at the dark, freezing time of year. The trees are sleeping, but our singing may inform their dreams; who knows? Make 2024 the year you try it!
